About this event

Spectrum Works looks to connect job seekers living on the Autism Spectrum with some of Canada's top employers. Each city will have national and local businesses actively looking to hire and fill positions within their organization.

This event unites the Autism community in the respected cities, bringing together Service Providers and Exhibitors to showcase their services to the attendees.

This event is open to everyone looking to learn about Autism, friends, family members and most importantly, this event is meant for people with Autism who are looking to use their strengths to gain employment!

For 2020, Spectrum Works has expanded to four cities: Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal. Our aim is to continue breaking down the stigmas associated with people living with ASD, that they are able to be a contributing member in the workforce. When given the opportunity, individuals can do a wonderful job, which is why we are taking a proactive approach in pairing employers with employees.

This 4-hour job fair includes:

  • Employers looking to hire people with Autism
  • Service Providers looking to connect with the community
  • Appearance by local politicians

If you are on the Spectrum and would like to attend in any of the cities, please register to the appropriate city as you will need to check-in at the location. Pre-registration is mandatory to ensure entry and limit waiting periods at the job fair.

SPECTRUM WORKS WEBSITE

We are a collective of friends who came together with one mission in mind, to help others. We create events and projects that bring awareness to various causes within our community.

Substance Cares was born out of the desire to create real opportunities to help other members of our society, instead of just wishing we knew how.

Spreading kindness and positivity is our goal. We hope to reach as many people as we can.
